What you do all day

  • Take calls and chats for booking, changes and cancellations
  • Apply the airline's own fare rules, waivers and disruption policies
  • Handle seats, meals, baggage, special assistance and frequent-flyer questions
  • Meet handle-time and quality targets

  • Clear spoken English (and Arabic)
  • Patience
  • Following a script but sounding human
  • Typing while talking

How to prepare

  • Polish spoken English — most of the interview is a live call simulation
  • Learn irregular operations: cancellations, misconnections, involuntary reroutes
  • Study the airline's own baggage and change policy before the interview

Interview questions

  • Role play: the passenger's flight was cancelled and there is no seat for two days.
  • How would you refuse a request politely without losing the customer?
  • What do you know about our network and hub?
